Artemisia tilesii prefers well-draining soil and is drought-tolerant once established. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, especially in cooler months, as this can lead to root rot.

Reduce watering frequency during winter dormancy to prevent waterlogged conditions.

Prune Artemisia tilesii in early spring to shape the plant and remove any winter damage. Cut back by about one-third to encourage bushier growth.

Deadheading spent flower stalks throughout the summer can promote a tidier appearance and potentially extend the blooming period. Avoid heavy pruning in late summer.

Propagate Artemisia tilesii by stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Select healthy, non-flowering shoots, cut them into 8-10 cm lengths, and remove the lower leaves.

Dip the cut ends in rooting hormone and plant them in a well-draining potting mix. Keep moist and in a bright, indirect light location.
