Carapa gogo prefers consistently moist soil, but not waterlogged conditions. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months.

Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in container cultivation. Overwatering is a common issue to avoid.

Prune Carapa gogo to maintain desired shape and size, or to remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can be done at any time of year, but heavy pruning is best avoided during extreme weather.

Use clean, sharp tools to make precise cuts just above a leaf node.

Carapa gogo can be propagated from seeds or semi-hardwood cuttings. Seeds should be sown fresh in a well-draining potting mix.

For cuttings, take 10-15 cm cuttings in summer, remove lower leaves, and dip in rooting hormone before inserting into moist soil. Keep humid and warm.
