Water when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Reduce watering frequency during the winter months when the plant's growth slows down.

Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogged soil.

Prune to maintain desired shape and size, or to encourage bushier growth. Trim back leggy stems just above a leaf node. Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears.

Pruning can be done anytime, but is most effective in spring.

Propagate by stem cuttings. Take cuttings of 10-15 cm with at least two leaf nodes. Remove lower leaves and place the cut end in water or moist potting mix. Roots typically form within a few weeks.

Once rooted, plant in a pot.

Repot every 1-2 years when the plant becomes root-bound, or when its growth appears stunted. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Repotting is best done in spring.
