Wild Angelica thrives in consistently moist soil, especially during dry periods. Water deeply when the top few centimeters of soil feel dry to the touch, ensuring the root zone remains hydrated. Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Established plants show some drought tolerance but perform best with regular moisture.

Wild Angelica is easily propagated by seed. Sow fresh seeds directly outdoors in late summer or autumn for germination the following spring, as they require a period of cold stratification. Alternatively, seeds can be started indoors in early spring after a cold stratification period in a refrigerator.

As a large, tap-rooted plant typically grown outdoors in the ground, Wild Angelica is not suitable for repotting. It establishes a deep root system and prefers not to be disturbed once planted. If growing in a container, choose a very large pot from the start to accommodate its mature size and root development.
