Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of rot for Adromischus species.

Water sparingly during winter dormancy, usually once a month or less, depending on ambient temperature and humidity levels. Use room-temperature water.

Pruning is generally not required for Adromischus marianiae. If damaged or leggy stems occur, they can be trimmed back. Cuttings from pruning can be used for propagation.

Remove any dead or yellowing leaves promptly to maintain a tidy appearance.

Propagate Adromischus marianiae from stem cuttings or leaf cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining succulent or cactus mix.

Roots typically form within a few weeks in warm conditions with bright, indirect light.

Repot every two to three years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a fast-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current root ball.

Repot in spring or early summer before the active growing season begins.
