Water thoroughly when the soil has completely dried out. Trichodiadema densum is drought-tolerant due to its succulent nature. Overwatering is the primary cause of root rot.

Reduce watering significantly during its dormant period in winter to prevent fungal issues.

Prune to maintain shape or control size. Remove any dead or leggy stems to encourage bushier growth. Pruning can also be done after flowering to tidy up the plant. Use clean, sharp tools to make precise cuts.

Propagate from stem cuttings or offsets. Allow cuttings to callus over for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Offsets can be gently removed and potted separately.

Both methods are best performed in spring or early summer.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one.
