Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry.

Reduce watering slightly in cooler months to prevent root rot, but do not allow the plant to dry out completely.

Prune to maintain shape and size, and to encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing stems. Pinch back the tips of new shoots to promote branching.
