Overwatering can lead to bulb rot, so ensure good drainage.

Prune away any dead or yellowing foliage as it appears to maintain a tidy appearance and prevent disease. After flowering, remove spent flower stalks at their base to encourage further blooming and prevent seed production, which can drain the plant's energy.

Propagate primarily through offsets or bulbils that form around the base of the parent bulb. Gently separate these from the mother bulb during repotting and plant them in well-draining soil.

They may take a few years to reach flowering size.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the bulbs have become crowded, preferably in spring as new growth emerges. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend.
