Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings, especially during the growing season.

Reduce watering in cooler months to prevent root rot. Ensure good drainage to avoid standing water.

Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Pruning also helps to control the size of the plant and can stimulate more blooms in the following season.

Light pruning can be done anytime to shape.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer or autumn. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining potting mix. Keep the cuttings moist and in a warm, humid environment.

Rooting typically takes several weeks to a few months.

Repot every 2-3 years in spring, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one.

Handle the roots gently to avoid damage, and water thoroughly after repotting.
