Amur Jack-In-The-PulpitArisaema amurense

Keep the soil consistently moist during the growing season, especially when the plant is actively producing its spathe and spadix. Reduce watering as the foliage begins to yellow and die back in late summer or early autumn, allowing the soil to dry out during dormancy.

Remove dead or yellowing foliage in late summer or fall as it naturally dies back. This helps prevent disease and allows the plant to focus energy on its underground corm.

No other significant pruning is typically required for Arisaema amurense.

Divide the corms in early spring before new growth begins. Corms can also be grown from seed, but this process is slow, often taking several years to reach flowering size.

Sow seeds in autumn or stratify them before spring sowing.

Repot Arisaema amurense every 2-3 years, or when the corm has outgrown its container. This is best done in early spring before active growth commences.

Use a well-draining potting mix and ensure the new pot provides adequate space.
