Reduce watering frequency during the dormant winter months, allowing the soil to dry out more between waterings.
Prune Argomuellera gigantea to maintain desired shape and size, and to remove any dead or damaged branches. Light pruning can be done at any time, but heavier pruning is best performed in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.
Propagate Argomuellera gigantea from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Insert cuttings into a well-draining potting mix and keep them in a warm, humid environment until they root.
This can take several weeks.
Repot Argomuellera gigantea every 2-3 years, or when it becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix. Repotting is best done in spring, just as the plant is beginning its active growth phase.
