Prune to shape the plant, remove dead or damaged branches, and encourage bushier growth.

Light pruning can be done anytime, but heavier pruning is best after fruiting or in late winter/early spring before new growth begins. This helps maintain size and fruit production.

Propagate primarily through cuttings or seeds. Take semi-hardwood cuttings in summer and root them in a well-draining medium. Seeds can be sown in spring, but germination can be erratic.

Grafting is also an option for faster fruiting.
