Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down to prevent root rot.

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage more blooms and maintain a tidy appearance. Lightly trim back any overgrown or straggly stems in late autumn or early spring to promote bushier growth.

Remove any dead or diseased foliage as soon as it is noticed.

Bellis atlantica can be propagated by division of established clumps in early spring or autumn. Sow seeds indoors in late winter or early spring, or directly outdoors after the last frost.
