Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of death. In winter, reduce watering significantly, providing only enough to prevent extreme wilting.

Ensure pots have drainage holes to prevent waterlogged roots.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Trim back leggy stems at any time of year. Cuttings can be used for propagation. Remove any dead or damaged foliage to maintain plant health and appearance.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus over for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Roots will form within a few weeks. Water sparingly until new growth is evident.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend. Choose a pot slightly larger than the current one. Repot in spring or early summer.
