Water regularly, allowing the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging, especially during cooler months. Reduce watering in winter to mimic drier periods.

Prune to maintain shape and size, and to remove any dead or damaged branches. Light pruning can be done at any time, but heavier pruning is best done in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

This encourages bushier growth.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Use a rooting hormone to improve success rates. Plant cuttings in a well-draining medium and keep them in a warm, humid environment until roots develop.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a slightly larger pot with good drainage. Spring is the ideal time for repotting, just before the start of the active growing season.
