Water Broad-Leaved Oleaster regularly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging. Reduce watering in winter, allowing the soil to dry out more between waterings.

Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. You can also prune to shape the plant or reduce its size.

Heavy pruning can be done after flowering if needed to maintain desired form.

Propagate by semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining medium. Keep moist and warm, and they should root within a few months.

Seeds can also be sown in autumn.

Repot young plants every 2-3 years, or when root-bound, in spring. Choose a pot that is one size larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix. Established plants rarely need frequent repotting.
