Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil is dry, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering significantly in winter. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure good drainage.

Soggy soil is detrimental to this succulent.

Remove dead or yellowing leaves at the base of the plant to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage new growth. If the plant becomes leggy, you can prune it back to encourage a bushier form.

Easily propagated from offsets or leaf cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Offsets can be gently separated from the mother plant and potted individually.
