Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during dry periods. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.

Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooming and prevent self-seeding if unwanted. Cut back the plant in late autumn or early spring to remove dead or damaged foliage and to maintain a tidy shape.

Pimpinella saxifraga can be propagated by division of established clumps in early spring or autumn. Seeds can also be sown in autumn or early spring, either directly outdoors or in a seed tray.

Germination may be erratic.
