Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is a common cause of root rot.

Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging, especially during dormant periods. Reduce watering significantly in winter.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or leggy stems. Pinch back tips to promote branching. Pruning can also be done to control size and prevent overcrowding of branches.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take cuttings of healthy stems, allow them to callous for a few days, and then plant them in well-draining soil. Water sparingly and provide bright, indirect light until roots form.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one to avoid overwatering issues.
