Overwatering can lead to yellowing leaves and fungal issues, so monitor soil moisture carefully.

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Pinching back new growth can promote a more compact form.

Heavy pruning is generally not required.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Root cuttings in a well-draining potting mix, keeping the soil moist and providing bottom heat. Seeds can also be sown, but germination may be slow and erratic.

Patience is key.

Repot young plants annually, and mature plants every 2-3 years, preferably in spring. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of potting soil and perlite.

Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one to avoid waterlogging.
