Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings, especially during the growing season.

Reduce watering in winter, but do not let the plant dry out completely. Good drainage is essential to prevent root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Pinch back young shoots to promote branching. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing stems at any time.

Heavy pruning can be done in early spring before new growth begins to rejuvenate the plant.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings taken in spring or summer. Select healthy stems, cut them about 10-15 cm long, and remove lower leaves. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in moist potting mix.
