Pruning is minimal, mainly to remove any yellow, damaged, or dead leaves at the base. Use clean, sharp shears to cut the leaf stem as close to the soil line as possible.

This helps maintain the plant's appearance and encourages new growth.

Propagate by division of rhizomes, ideally during repotting in spring. Carefully separate a section of the rhizome with at least 2-3 leaves and a healthy root system.

Plant the division in fresh potting mix and keep it consistently moist until established.
