Pruning is generally not essential for Centrosema arenarium. However, light pruning can be done after flowering to maintain shape or remove any dead or damaged stems.

This can also encourage bushier growth and potentially more blooms in the following season.

Propagation is best achieved through seeds. Sow seeds in spring after the last frost, or indoors a few weeks prior. Scarification of the seed coat or soaking in warm water can improve germination rates.

Cuttings can also be taken from semi-hardwood in summer.

Repotting is infrequent for Centrosema arenarium as it prefers to be slightly root-bound.
