Coralberry prefers consistently moist soil during its establishment phase. Once mature, it becomes quite drought-tolerant. Water deeply when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry, especially during prolonged dry spells.

Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering in winter.

Prune Coralberry in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. To maintain shape and encourage flowering, remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches.

For denser growth and improved berry production, you can cut back stems by about one-third. It tolerates hard pruning well.

Coralberry is easily propagated by stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Select healthy, non-flowering stems, cut them into 10-15 cm pieces, and remove lower leaves.

Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in well-draining potting mix. Keep moist and provide warmth.

Repotting is rarely necessary for Coralberry, as it is often used in landscaping or grown as a shrub.

If grown in a container and it becomes root-bound, repot in spring to a slightly larger container with fresh, well-draining potting soil. Ensure adequate drainage holes in the pot.
