Prune after flowering to maintain shape and size. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can encourage bushier growth.

For older plants, more significant rejuvenation pruning can be done in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Propagate by seeds sown in spring, or by semi-ripe cuttings taken in summer. Seeds may require stratification. Cuttings should be treated with rooting hormone and placed in a well-draining medium in a warm location.
