Water regularly, especially during dry spells, ensuring the soil is consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings.

Deep watering encourages a robust root system. Reduce watering in autumn as growth slows.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage reblooming and prevent self-seeding. In late winter or early spring, cut back old stems to about 15-20 cm from the ground to promote fresh growth.

Remove any dead or damaged foliage as needed throughout the season.

Easily propagated by division in early spring or autumn. Carefully lift the plant and divide the root ball into sections, each with several healthy buds. Replant divisions immediately into well-prepared soil.

Can also be grown from seed sown in autumn or early spring.

Established plants generally do not require frequent repotting. If growth becomes stunted or the plant is overcrowded, divide and replant in spring or autumn.

Choose a location with adequate space for the plant to reach its mature size and spread.
