Water regularly during the growing season, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering significantly in winter, providing just enough to prevent the soil from drying out completely.

Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and size, and to encourage bushier growth. Dead or damaged branches should be removed at any time. Light pruning can be done after flowering to tidy the plant and promote a denser habit.

Propagate from seeds sown in spring, preferably after a period of cold stratification or scarification to improve germination rates. Cuttings taken in late spring or early summer can also be rooted under humid conditions.

Repot young plants annually or as needed to provide fresh soil and more space. Mature plants can be repotted every 2-3 years. Use a well-draining potting mix, and choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one.
