Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Dischidia immortalis prefers to dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.

Reduce watering frequency during cooler months when growth slows.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Trim leggy stems back to a node. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves promptly.

Pruning can be done any time of year, but is most effective in spring before new growth begins.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take 10-15 cm long cuttings and root them in moist potting mix or water. Once roots have formed, pot them up. Cuttings root best in warm conditions with bright, indirect light.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one.
