Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is detrimental, leading to root rot. Reduce watering significantly during winter dormancy. Ensure pots have drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Water thoroughly when the top few centimeters of soil are dry.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove spent flower stalks and any dead or damaged stems. Pinch back tips of new growth in spring to promote a more compact form.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Rooting typically occurs within a few weeks.
