Erucastrum cardaminoides prefers consistently moist soil, especially during its active growth period. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

Reduce watering slightly during cooler, dormant periods but do not allow the soil to dry out completely.

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooming and maintain a tidy appearance. Light pruning can be done to shape the plant or remove any damaged or leggy stems.

Heavy pruning is generally not necessary unless the plant becomes overgrown or diseased.

Erucastrum cardaminoides is easily propagated from seed sown in spring or early autumn. It can also be propagated by stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer.

Cuttings should be rooted in a well-draining potting mix, kept moist and warm.
