Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods. Allow the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging.

Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can be done to control size.

Heavy pruning is best done in late winter or early spring before new growth appears.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining seed compost.

Keep in a propagator or covered with a plastic bag in a warm, bright location, out of direct sunlight. Roots usually form within 4-6 weeks.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a good quality, free-draining potting mix. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one.

Repot in spring, just before the growing season begins, to minimize stress.
