Feathered Mosquitofern thrives in consistently moist to waterlogged conditions. As an aquatic or semi-aquatic plant, it requires standing water or very saturated soil.

Avoid letting it dry out, as this will quickly lead to wilting and decline. Maintain a water level of a few centimeters above the substrate.

Pruning is generally not necessary for Feathered Mosquitofern unless it becomes excessively dense or outcompetes other aquatic plants. If removal is needed, simply skim the excess plant mass from the water surface.

Discard the removed portions or use them as compost.

Propagation is extremely easy as Azolla pinnata reproduces rapidly through fragmentation. Simply divide existing mats of the plant and place them in suitable water or moist substrate.

New fronds will develop quickly, doubling the plant mass in a short period under optimal conditions.

Repotting is not a typical concern for Feathered Mosquitofern as it is usually grown in open water or on pond surfaces.

If it's being cultivated in a container pond or a confined space, simply remove excess growth to prevent overcrowding. It effectively reproduces and expands without formal repotting.
