Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering frequency during the cooler, dormant months to prevent overwatering.

Ensure good drainage in the pot.

Prune to maintain desired shape and size, or to remove yellowing or damaged leaves. Use clean, sharp shears to make cuts just above a leaf node.

Pruning also encourages bushier growth and can be done at any time of year, though it's best avoided during peak winter dormancy.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take a cutting with at least one leaf and an aerial root. Plant in moist potting mix or suspend in water, ensuring the node is submerged.

Roots will form within a few weeks, after which it can be potted.

Repot every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound and drainage is compromised. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one.

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as an aroid blend, to ensure adequate aeration for the roots.
