Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in cooler months, but do not let the plant dry out completely.

Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Prune after flowering to maintain a compact shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead or spent blooms regularly to promote continuous flowering. Light pruning can be done anytime to shape the plant.

Heavier pruning in early spring will rejuvenate the plant.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings taken in spring or early summer. Select healthy stems, cut them to about 10-15 cm, remove lower leaves, and dip the cut end in rooting hormone.

Insert into moist potting mix and keep in a warm, humid environment.

Repot every 1-2 years, preferably in spring, when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Ensure good drainage in the new pot to prevent waterlogging.
