Water Fuchsia Standishii regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering slightly during cooler, dormant periods.

Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in containers.

Prune Fuchsia Standishii in late winter or early spring to shape the plant and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing stems. Pinch back young shoots to promote branching and more blooms.
