Water Golden Yarrow thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings, as it prefers well-drained conditions and can be susceptible to root rot if overwatered.

Reduce watering significantly in winter.

Prune Golden Yarrow after the first flush of blooms to encourage a second flowering and maintain a tidy shape. Cut back by about one-third to one-half.

Remove spent flower stalks throughout the season to prevent self-seeding and promote continuous blooming.

Propagate Golden Yarrow by seeds sown in early spring or by stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Seeds can be sown directly outdoors after the last frost or started indoors a few weeks prior.

Cuttings should be rooted in well-draining potting mix.

Repotting is generally not necessary for mature, established plants as they are well-suited to their natural environment. If grown in a container, repot every 2-3 years in spring into a slightly larger pot with fresh, well-draining soil to refresh the growing medium.
