Flower stalks can be cut back after blooming if desired, but it's not essential for the plant's health.

Clivia nobilis can be propagated by seed, though this is slow. Offsets (pups) that form at the base of mature plants are the easiest method.

Carefully separate these pups with a clean knife and pot them in a well-draining mix.
