Water consistently, allowing the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. In warmer months, water more frequently. Reduce watering in winter, but do not allow the soil to become completely dry.

Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogged roots.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can be done after flowering to encourage a second bloom.

For larger structural pruning, do it in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Dip the cuttings in rooting hormone and plant them in a well-draining potting mix.

Keep the soil consistently moist and provide bottom heat for best results.

Repot young plants annually, and mature plants every 2-3 years, or when they become root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one with good aeration. Repot in spring before new growth starts.
