Water consistently, allowing the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months when growth slows down.

Ensure good drainage in the pot.

Prune to shape the plant and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or leggy stems.

Light pruning can be done anytime, while heavier pruning is best done in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Propagate from stem cuttings taken in spring or summer. Select healthy, non-flowering stems, cut them to about 10-15 cm, and remove lower leaves. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in moist potting mix.

Keep warm and humid.

Repot every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of potting soil, perlite, and sand.
