Prune immediately after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushiness. Remove faded flower heads and trim back any straggly shoots. Hard pruning into old wood is generally not recommended as it may not regrow.

Light pruning will promote a denser habit.

Propagate from semi-ripe cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Insert cuttings into a well-drained, acidic rooting medium. Maintain high humidity and warmth. Rooting can take several weeks to months.
