Water regularly, especially during dry periods, to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

Reduce watering in winter when the plant is less actively growing.

Prune after flowering to maintain shape and size. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can encourage bushier growth.

Avoid heavy pruning in late summer or autumn, as this can stimulate new growth that may not mature before winter.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in mid-summer. Select healthy shoots, dip the base in rooting hormone, and plant in a well-draining medium. Keep the cuttings moist and provide bottom heat for best results.

Seed propagation is also possible but slower.

Repot young plants annually in spring. Mature plants can be repotted every 2-3 years, or when they become root-bound. Use a good quality, well-draining potting mix.

Ensure the new pot is only slightly larger than the previous one.
