Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, especially during cooler months.

Reduce watering significantly in winter to mimic its natural dormant period.

Prune to maintain shape, remove dead or damaged leaves, and encourage bushier growth. Use clean, sharp scissors or a knife. Pinching back the tips of stems will promote branching.

Pruning can be done anytime, but is best done in spring or early summer.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings or leaf cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus over for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Water sparingly until roots have formed, typically within a few weeks.
