Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of root rot. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry, ensuring good drainage.

Reduce watering significantly during winter dormancy, offering only occasional light moisture if the plant shows signs of stress.

Minimal pruning is required for Aristaloe aristata cv. 'Cosmo'. Remove any dead, dried, or damaged leaves close to the base of the plant. This improves aesthetics and prevents potential disease.

Pruning is best done in spring or early summer using clean, sharp scissors or a knife.

Aristaloe aristata cv. 'Cosmo' is typically propagated by offsets (pups) that grow from the base of the mother plant. Carefully remove an offset with roots attached using a clean knife.

Allow the cut surface to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant outgrows its container. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one, with ample drainage holes. Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix.

Repotting is best done in spring before the active growing season begins.
