Reduce watering in cooler months, allowing the soil to dry out slightly more between waterings. Avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

Pruning is generally minimal for established Burma Padauk. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Shaping can be done if necessary, but avoid heavy pruning to maintain its natural form and vigor.

Burma Padauk can be propagated from seeds, which require scarification and soaking before sowing. Cuttings are less common and can be difficult to root. Seed germination can be slow and requires warm conditions.

Younger Burma Padauk trees may benefit from repotting every 2-3 years in spring. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one. Older or established trees in the ground rarely require repotting.
