Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of death for this succulent. Water thoroughly when the top few centimeters of soil are dry, especially during the growing season.

Reduce watering significantly in winter.

Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead or straggly stems. Pinch back stems occasionally to encourage bushier growth. Pruning can be done after flowering to encourage new blooms in the next season.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Water sparingly after planting and provide bright, indirect light.

Rooting typically occurs within a few weeks. Can also be grown from seed.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound, typically in spring. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend.

Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one to avoid overwatering issues.
