Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Reduce watering during winter months. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in containers.

Check the top few centimeters of soil; if dry, it's time to water.

Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove spent flowers and any dead or leggy stems.

Harder pruning can be done in early spring before new growth appears to rejuvenate the plant and promote abundant blooms.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Dip the cut ends in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining potting mix.

Keep the cuttings consistently moist and warm, ideally in a propagator, until roots form.

Repot young plants annually in spring, moving them to slightly larger containers. Mature plants can be repotted every 2-3 years. Use a good quality, peat-based potting mix that allows for excellent drainage.

Ensure the new pot has drainage holes.
