Water consistently once the top 2-3 cm of soil has dried out. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Allow soil to drain thoroughly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter when the plant's growth slows.

Prune after flowering to remove spent flower stalks and maintain a tidy shape. Light pruning can be done in spring to remove any dead or damaged foliage. Avoid heavy pruning, as it can stress the plant.

Propagate by division in spring, carefully separating the root ball into smaller sections, each with at least one bud. Alternatively, sow seeds in spring in well-draining soil.

Cuttings can also be taken in late spring or early summer.

Repot young plants annually or every two years in spring. Mature plants can be repotted less frequently, only when root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Ensure the new pot has adequate drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
