Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead or leggy stems. Trim back stems that have become too long or sparse to encourage bushier growth.

Pruning can be done at any time, but is best done in spring before new growth begins.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take 5-10 cm cuttings in spring or summer and allow the cut end to callus over for a few days. Plant in well-draining soil and keep slightly moist until roots form.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a gritty, well-draining potting mix formulated for succulents or cacti.
