Maintain consistent submersion in slow-moving or still freshwater. The substrate should be kept moist, and the water level should be stable, ideally without significant fluctuations.

Avoid water that is overly turbulent or has a strong current, as this can damage delicate foliage.

Pruning is usually not necessary for aesthetic reasons as the plant naturally forms a dense, submerged mass.

However, if the plant grows too large or begins to outcompete other aquatic plants, you can trim back stems to the desired length. Use sharp scissors or aquatic plant shears for clean cuts.

Whorled Water-Milfoil is easily propagated through stem cuttings. Simply take a section of healthy stem, approximately 10-15 cm long, and plant it in the substrate or allow it to float.

It will quickly root and grow into a new plant. Division of established clumps is also effective.

Repotting is not a typical practice for this aquatic plant. It is usually grown directly in pond substrate or in pots that are anchored in place.

If it needs to be moved, gently lift the entire root ball and replant it in the desired location. Ensure it is submerged to the correct depth.
