Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top centimeter of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid allowing the plant to dry out completely, as this can stress it.

Reduce watering slightly in cooler conditions or during winter.

Pinch back young plants to encourage bushier growth and more flowers. Remove spent blooms (deadheading) regularly to promote continuous flowering.

Prune any leggy stems or damaged foliage to maintain an attractive shape and plant health.

New Guinea Impatiens are typically propagated by stem cuttings. Take 4-6 inch cuttings from healthy, non-flowering stems. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and insert into moist potting mix.

Keep warm and humid until roots form.

Repot annually in spring, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is one size larger than the current one, with good drainage. Use a well-draining potting mix formulated for containers.

Gently loosen the roots before placing in the new pot.
